Crystal “Cris” Gambrell has been a Lupus Warrior since 1997. Cris is a beauty school Director, a licensed cosmetologist, and an instructor for 20+ years. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Fashion Merchandising; currently pursuing a Master’s in Industrial Organization Psychology.  Having the opportunity to work in the beauty industry Cris has been able to assist women and men with hair loss due to autoimmune diseases or prescribed medications.  She assists and counsels them on their hair growth journey. While doing so, Cris was inspired to get more involved with raising awareness for lupus.  She has been advocating for awareness since 2015. When she is not volunteering or at one of her ventures, Cris enjoys traveling, art museums, and spending time with her daughter.
