About the Scholarship

The Chastity Corbett Youth Scholarship is offered by Social Butterflies Foundation to graduating seniors in Virginia living with lupus or fibromyalgia, or those with a biological parent or grandparent diagnosed with either condition, who plan to pursue higher education.
Named in honor of SBF founder Chastity Corbett—known as The Lupus Conqueror—the scholarship celebrates resilience, determination, and the power of community support. It reminds students that lupus and fibromyalgia are words, not sentences, and that their educational goals remain within reach.
