Butterfly Walk for Lupus & Fibromyalgia 2026

The Social Butterflies Foundation invites you to join us for the 2026 Butterfly Walk for Lupus & Fibromyalgia, a powerful community event dedicated to raising awareness, inspiring hope, and supporting individuals and families affected by chronic invisible illnesses.

On Saturday, August 1, 2026, participants from across the region will gather at Boo Williams Sportsplex in Hampton, Virginia, for an afternoon filled with purpose, empowerment, education, and celebration. More than just a walk, this event serves as a movement to amplify the voices of lupus and fibromyalgia warriors, survivors, caregivers, advocates, and supporters.

This year’s theme, “Beyond Unbreakable,” reflects the extraordinary strength of those who face daily challenges while living with chronic illness. It honors individuals who continue to persevere despite pain, uncertainty, and adversity—transforming their struggles into stories of courage, resilience, and inspiration. Beyond Unbreakable is a reminder that strength is not measured by what we endure alone, but by how we rise, support one another, and continue moving forward together.

Attendees can look forward to an uplifting experience featuring community engagement, inspirational speakers, special guest appearances, live entertainment, music, fellowship, and opportunities to connect with local organizations and resources. The event will also provide a platform to educate the public about lupus and fibromyalgia while highlighting the importance of early diagnosis, ongoing support, and increased advocacy efforts.
